Oscar or Ojay is a consummate human capital management professional with international training and talent management implementations experience across Asia Pacific and geographical exposure to Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and some parts of Europe.

Currently, he is the Group Regional Learning and Development (L&D) of Teledirect Telecommerce, a part of the WPP group, the world's largest advertising company by revenues. Teledirect operates 8 contact centers in Asia with key offices in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, China and Japan.

With a well-rounded exposure to operational leadership, human resources management, resource utilization, learning and organizational development in Fortune 500 and publicly-listed organizations, Ojay is an innovative training and development professional with extensive experience in the design, delivery, evaluation, and enhancement of effective instructional programs and management assessment models.

He has worked and trained for companies like eBay, PayPal, Google, Airbnb, American Express, Yellow Pages, Menarini, Chubb, Roche, Bosch, and various government agencies like the Philippine Information Agency and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Oscar has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Literature major in English from the University of San Carlos – Cebu. He completed his post-graduate studies in the Design and Execution of Training from the Asian Institute of Management. Furthering that, he also has a post-graduate diploma in Training Development and Management from the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde under the School of Professional and Continuing Education and is currently pursuing another post-graduate diploma in Organizational Development in the same institution. He is a certified professional for COPC, holding the professional certification of Certified COPC Implementation Leader (COPC Registered Coordinator).

He is a global trainer, coach, and facilitator of several programs including Communications, Intercultural Communication, Customer Experience, Train-the-trainer, Coaching for Performance, Sales, e-Learning, and Behavioral and Experiential Training, among others.

He is an active member and officer of Toastmasters International, winning several speech competitions at the club, area, division, and district level.
